Infectious Disease

Infectious diseases are caused by pathogenic microorganisms

such as bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi; the diseases can be spread, directly or indirectly, from one person to another.  Infectious diseases are often referred to as transmissible disease, communicable disease, or contagious disease because it can be easily transmitted by contact from a person with the disease or their secretions (blood, mucus, etc.).

There are several infectious diseases that affect large numbers of people globally.  All of these diseases are studied extensively in search of ways to manage them and even cure them.

ProTrials sees the way infectious diseases can affect people’s lives.  We are committed to working with our partners to find ways to manage, prevent, and cure these potentially deadly infections so additional individuals do not need to suffer.  ProTrials believes in good health and quality of life. With over 60% of our team having experience with related treatments and vaccines, we can deliver pertinent, practical knowledge to move your trials forward.
